BMW Reveals the XM Concept
The second luxurious SUV coupe from the Munich: BMW XM (2022) and not BMW X8 M. The BMW XM Concept provides a glimpse of the most powerful M production vehicle to date.
A new flagship is growing in Bavaria and it is not called BMW X8 M. The BMW XM (2022) is a coupé-like version of the BMW X7. The BMW XM Concept gives a glimpse of the production model, which is scheduled to start production at the end of 2022. The XM is set to be the most powerful BMW ever built by M GmbH. The maximum output of 750bhp is provided by a newly developed M hybrid system. The powerful SUV produces a1000 Nm of torque and the range is 50 miles.
The luxury SUV's high performance is matched by its striking exterior. With the first stand-alone M vehicle since the BMW M1, the brand aims to break conventions, and this is evident at first glance: the front headlights are now each divided into two separate modules and flank the large, illuminated kidney. Geometric lines, black surfaces and large air intakes shape the front. Despite its dimensions of 5.16 meters in length, 2.21 meters in width and 1.81 meters in height, the XM exudes dynamism and sportiness. The side line is not based on the X6, as originally thought, but apparently on the smaller X2. The shoulder line rises toward the rear. The vertically arranged twin tailpipes are among the eye-catchers.
