Is the RS 6 coming as a more powerful Plus?
With the Audi RS 6 (2019), the longstanding RS story will probably culminate in the most dramatic Audi to date.
The Audi RS 6 has been at dealerships since 2019 with a V8 Biturbo engine, extended equipment, and a price starting at 127,000 Sterlin (as of January 2022). Making power, performance, and dynamics visible is a very self-confident step in times of the mobility revolution and the omnipresent climate debate. Audi is taking it. The fan base for the RS 6 is too large and growing steadily to do without the power station wagon. The RS no longer has much in common with the A6 Avant. Even the front end is different: In addition to the new hood including the power dome, the RS 6 Avant also adopts the flatter front headlights of the RS 7.
The V8 Biturbo of the Audi RS 6 (2019) produces 600 horsepower and 800 Newton meters. That should allow the C8 Avant to easily storm to 305 mph instead of the optional 250 mph. According to Audi, 100 km/h is reached after 3.6 seconds, and the 200 km/h mark is reached after twelve seconds. In addition, the Biturbo is linked to a 48-volt main electrical system.
