2022 Ford Ranger Raptor Price and Features Announced

A new member has been added to the Ford Ranger family.

Ford has released the 2022 Ranger Raptor. An aggressive design and more powerful engines are among the characteristic features of the 2022 Ford Ranger Raptor.

The front end features new bumpers, aluminum side steps, a new grille with FORD lettering and underbody protection. There is also a large front impact plate made of high-strength steel.

The cabin is equipped with a pair of jet-inspired sports seats. Other equipment features include a heated leather steering wheel, ambient lighting, 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, SYNC4 infotainment system, 12-inch touchscreen and 10-speaker B&O audio system.

Under the hood, 2.0-liter diesel and 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 petrol engine options are offered. The European version, the V6, produces 284 hp and 491 Nm of torque.

This engine is accompanied by a 10-speed automatic transmission. Power is transferred to all four wheels. 7 different driving modes are offered. These modes are; Normal, Sport, Slippery, Rock Crawl, Mud/Ruts, Sand and Baja (ideal for high speed off-road).

The new Ranger Raptor will be available at the end of the summer. Ford will also announce pricing details in the coming months.
