Which powertrain is better for the Mokka? 1.2 or 50KWH? Price List 2021-12-19

The Vauxhall Mokka-e brings excitement into the comparison with the Vauxhall Mokka 1.2 DI Turbo. Is the electric vehicle with the lightning bolt in its logo convincing?

The internal combustion engine version of the Vauxhall Mokka 1.2 DI Turbo faces off against the Vauxhall Mokka-e in an intra-model series comparison.

With a fresh design including a confident front and modern multimedia and safety technology, the Mokka B aims at young buyers. The powertrain list includes a 1.2-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with a choice of 100 or 130 bhp and a 110-bhp 1.5-liter diesel. It is also available with a  battery pack. The 50 kW battery  produces100 kW (136 bhp). There are virtually no differences between the two versions. Neither externally nor internally. This means that even tall people can sit comfortably in the front, but there is only so much room in the back.

Vauxhall MOKKA vs Vauxhall MOKKA-E?

The Mokka is not a family car, but a small SUV that is supposed to enrich daily life with distinct driving pleasure. And that's exactly what both Mokka variants do with ease. On the one hand, their agile handling allows them to nimbly maneuver around even the tightest inner-city bends, and on the other hand, the powerful powertrains guarantee quick progress. The Vauxhall Mokka-e with its instant acceleration at the start of the traffic light is even more confident. On the other hand, the Vauxhall Mokka 1.2 DI Turbo achieves significantly higher speeds on the highway without having to worry too much about the range.

On our test round, we determine an electricity consumption of 19.5 kWh per 100 kilometers. Against this background, the range of the electric car is only 236 kilometers.
