The German brand announced that it would no longer produce the Passat model for the European market. However, things are a little different in the Chinese market. Volkswagen continues to develop sedans for Chinese customers. The name of this model is 2022 Volkswagen Lamando L.

Developed on the MQB EVO platform, the 2022 Volkswagen Lamando uses a new suspension system. The dimensions of the 2022 Volkswagen Lamando are as follows; 4,784 millimeters in length, 1,831 in width, 1,469 millimeters in height and 2,731 millimeters of wheelbase.

The new Lamamdo L is powered by a 1.4-liter petrol engine. It can produce 150 hp and 250 nm of torque. This unit is combined with a 7-speed DSG gearbox.

The price of the new Lamando L starts at $25,000.
