2023 Tesla Model S and Model X Plaid  , specs and release date

Tesla announces at the beginning of August 2022 that the Tesla Model S and Model X Plaid will be launched in Europe.

The first customer deliveries are scheduled between November and December. As the American electric car manufacturer also states, the design studios on the homepage have been updated accordingly with the latest specifications, options and prices.

Thus, it is now possible to officially order the Model S and Model X Plaid. The basic versions of Model S and Model X Dual Motor with all-wheel drive will be delivered in Europe for the first time in 2023. It is still possible to reserve a vehicle here. The ordering option will be made available at a later date, Tesla has indicated.

With the announcement of Tesla's results for the fourth quarter and the full year 2020, the company announced that the Tesla Model S and X will be relaunched. In doing so, Tesla said it had revamped not only the Tesla Model S but also the Model X. The result was the Plaid models. Plaid is by far the most substantial revision of the Model S and Model X since their European market launches in 2013 and 2016, respectively.

This is reflected in a new interior, new powertrains, new thermal systems, new electronics, a new chassis and much more. Combined with vastly improved production methods, reduced weight and a revised but equally iconic exterior look, "both vehicles deliver a whole new level in terms of luxury, technology and, of course, performance," as the manufacturer states in the accompanying release.
