2022 Kia Sportage Price and Review 2021-12-01
The current Sportage is still one of the old Kia design stamp, with a pronounced tiger nose grille, formless headlights.
In photos, the Sportage looks like a fairly hefty suv (it measures 1834 inches in length), with stretched lines, a rising waistline and a rear end with EV6 elements, such as the concave tailgate and the LED bar across the width. The nose is the Kia's most striking element.
Inside of the new Kia Sportage, we see an interesting mix of modern and traditional: There are many physical buttons for the most important functions, but also a huge display that serves as a digital instrument and infotainment screen.
When the Kia Sportage arrives on the UK market later this year, it will be available with a 150 bhp and 250 Nm 1.6-liter turbo engine. The Sportage Hybrid and Sportage Plug-in Hybrid always have 4WD. The former is 230 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. As a plug-in hybrid, the Sportage comes up to 265 bhp and 350 Nm of torque.
A choice of new, powerful, turbo Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid powertrains are introduced alongside 48V mild hybrid petrol and diesel engines for an inspiring drive.
