While the body and interior are demonstratively independent, Opel uses  Stellantis Group technology under the sheet metal. The modular CMP multi-energy platform makes it possible for Opel customers to choose between the electric drive familiar from the Opel Corsa-e and Peugeot e-208. The engine list includes two gasoline engines with 100 and 130 hp (each with 1.2 liters), and a 1.5-liter diesel with 110 hp.

The electric motor delivers a maximum of 100 kW/136 bhp and 260 NM of torque.  It ensures dynamic driving performance, especially in the low and medium speed ranges. The sprint from 9 to 18  MPH  is accomplished in around one second. Things are a bit more leisurely out of town, but acceleration from 37 to 62 mph and from 49 to 74 mph is completed in  5.4 and 7.5 seconds, respectively.
