Toyota bZ Compact SUV Concept: Preview of compact electric SUV

With the study, the mobility group is releasing a preview of a compact electric SUV and its future vision of the "bZ" (Beyond Zero) brand family.

Between 18 and 27 November 2022, Toyota will present its new Toyota bZ Compact SUV Concept at   Los Angeles Auto Show.

The Toyota bZ Compact SUV Concept has a sporty and elegant look. The aerodynamic electric car combines minimalist design with futuristic elements: The wheels placed far in the corners underline the self-confident appearance and give the vehicle a good dose of dynamism.

Even when stationary, the Stromer appears to be in motion. Further distinguishing features are the short overhangs and the reduced, aerodynamic lines, which contribute to the low air resistance. In the interior, the manufacturer consistently continues the design approach and presents a high-quality overall impression there as well. To this end, the designers have integrated various sustainable elements such as seats made of plant-based and recycled materials to live up to the brand's "Beyond Zero" claim.

A personal assistant responds not only to the driver's wishes or commands but also to those of the other passengers - even in the rear. Audio and visual light sequences build a bridge between the occupants and the vehicle.

As is well known, Toyota is paving the way to climate neutrality by 2050 with "Beyond Zero", and the company is pursuing a multi-technology approach to be able to meet the different needs and desires in the various markets: In addition to increasing electrification of its model range, which includes hybrid, plug-in hybrid, electric and fuel cell vehicles, Toyota is also dedicated to alternative fuels.
