The Cupra Born, Skoda Enyaq iV, Volkswagen ID.3 / ID.4 / ID.5 and this Audi Q4 E-Tron are all  under the the same skin. 

What's good about the Audi Q4 E-Tron?
The plug-in SUV is comfortable, quiet, smooth, reasonably energy-efficient and has a surprisingly small turning circle. 

We drove the Q4 40 E-Tron S Edition which has a 77 kWh battery producing 204 bhp. On paper, this version has a range of 306 miles.

The big difference between the Enyaq, ID.4 and Q4 E-Tron is in the interior of the latter. Audi uses a more traditional dashboard, which is more in line with  other models. There is a nice digital instrument cluster and an easy-to-use infotainment system. The big advantage, as far as we are concerned, is that Audi uses physical buttons for the most important functions. You can not fint these physical buttons in Skoda and Volkswagen.

The Q4 E-Tron has the smallest trunk of the bunch. Although a cargo volume of 520 to 1492 liters is still more than enough. In the back seat, passengers have nothing at all to complain about.  And yes, the Audi can tow a trailer, just like the Enyaq and ID.4. The maximum towing weight is set at 1,000 pounds.

The Volkswagen Group's  models can be fast-charged with up to 125 kW. That in itself is fine, but in the current market only good for a position in the middle range. For the price of the Q4 E-Tron - or even less - you have a Volvo XC40 Recharge (150 kW), Ford Mustang Mach-E (150 kw), Hyundai Ioniq 5 (220 kW) or Kia EV6 (240 kW).

 The angular steering wheel is not nice when you have to reach over.  We also miss a button to turn off the lane guard. When you start the Q4 E-Tron, it is on every time. To turn it off, you have to dive into the infotainment system.
