ORA Funky Cat: Available from January '23 from €38,990

As a 100 per cent electric ORA Funky Cat, the e-vehicle will hit the roads in Germany from January 2023 starting at €38,990. 

According to the Chinese manufacturer, the electric vehicle comes with an eight-year warranty / maximum 160,000 kilometres for the battery. 

With Funky Cat, ORA is venturing into Germany in 2023. These would also be available quite soon after the start of marketing, as they are looking at a manageable portfolio. And "only" six colours and colour combinations are offered for the exterior. For the interior, there is a choice of high-quality, vegan fabrics in a total of four colour tones.

Otherwise, the choice is between the battery size 47.8 kWh gross (45.4 kWh net) lithium iron phosphate with a range of 310 km according to WLTP or 63.1 kWh gross (59.3 kWh net) ternary lithium with a range of 420 km. With the large battery, there is then the GT-Line as an additional upgrade. There, the range is reduced to 400 km. Regardless of which battery size is chosen or whether the GT-Line is selected, the power output of 126 kW/ 171 hp and a maximum torque of 250 NM is the same throughout. The top speed is capped at 160 km/h.

Around 6,000 units are expected to be sold in the coming year. It remains to be seen whether the ORA Funky Cat will be accepted on the market. .
