Fiat 500X- (2023): Sport/ Cross/ Price

A Fiat 500X successor is on the way after around eight years. A new model could be launched in 2023.

Do the first prototype photos show the Fiat 500X successor that we expect in 2023? At first glance, it seems to be "just" an Opel Mokka - but why so heavily camouflaged? The Fiat 500X has reached the end of its model cycle and could be one of the first Fiat models to benefit from the platform strategy of the Stellantis. The CMP (Common Modular Platform) is now the basis for a large number of vehicles in the small car segment.  Peugeot 208, 2008, DS3 Crossback or Opel Corsa and Opel Mokka: All share the proven Group technology.

If the Fiat 500X successor use the CMP base from 2023  several engines are conceivable: For example, the Mokka is currently available with a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine in 100 (74 KW) and 130 hp (96 kW) power and a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel that produces110 hp (81 kW). That is enough power to adequately drive the 1.3-ton SUV. It's quite possible that the Fiat 500X successor (2023) will also be fully electric. With the familiar 50 kWh battery, ranges of over 300 kilometers according to WLTP would be possible.
