Ferrari Starts Purosangue Production in 2022
The Italian brand will start production before deliveries.
Ferrari's long-awaited model, the Purosangue SUV, enters production at the end of this year. Customer deliveries of the new model will begin in 2023.
Ferrari is preparing to enter the SUV market. The new Purosangue will compete with models such as the Lamborghini Urus and Aston Martin DBX and will hit the road after 3.5 years of development.
Ferrari began road tests of the Purosangue last month. Unlike its competitors, it will be a slightly lower model and will use some Maserati parts.
The 2023 Purosangue will be offered with a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 hybrid system. This setup will produce 819 hp of power and 740 NM of torque. If this engine had been internal combustion only, it would have produced 654 hp.
We hope another engine choice will be the 4.0-liter V( unit. Even the V12 has a chance to be offered.
