2022 VW Golf R 2.0 TSI price list starts from £40,900.
Two years after the launch of the VW Golf 8 (2019), VW is responding to justified harsh criticism from customers and car testers. Starting in early 2022, VW will give a revised version of the Modular Infotainment Building Kit (MIB 3) in every Golf. The visible hardware will remain unchanged.
The most important innovation is a more powerful chip unit with a central processor that now consists of four cores. Overall, the new chips are said to deliver 25 percent more computing power, while the performance of the graphics processing unit has been tripled. Above all, VW promises more speed: the system is supposed to boot up much faster after startup and the navigation route is calculated just five seconds after input.
