2022 Maserati MC20 Convertible : Specifications, price, release date

The Maserati MC20 will be supplemented by a convertible version with a retractable hardtop. 

The sky-blue camouflage extends to the roof, leaving us in doubt as to whether it's a fixed roof or a fabric one. But we expect that there should be a rigid cover that splits in two after folding and disappears under the hood.

The Maserati MC20 Convertible will feature the same technology as the coupe. The 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine produces 630 bhp. The new model can accelerate  from 0 to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds. The Maserati MC20 Coupe can reach up to 202 mph. These figures could also be achieved with the MC20 Convertible. 

The engine is coupled to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The interior will not change either.

However, the convertible version will not be the last novelty for the Maserati MC20:  2023 will bring the era of the combustion engine to an end. Indeed, in two years' time, the electric Maserati MC20 will be launched.
