VW T-Roc R Facelift (2022) : Specifications, price, release date 2021-01-14
The compact sports SUV will drive into the showrooms of the dealers from spring 2022. The price is starting at £42,190 (as of January 2022). Compared to the processor, the new model has only been revised on the outside: The radiator grille now has an optional Golf-style LED strip and, with the black trim below it, visually approximates its little brother, the T-Cross. The front end looks flatter and less aggressive.
The shape of the rear headlights remains, although the LED signature quotes the Golf. VW offers the four-pipe titanium exhaust system from Akrapovic, which gives the turbocharged four-cylinder a concise voice. The compact SUV sprints to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
On the inside, it has significantly more functions, including a drive mode button. A glance to the right reveals the highlight of the facelift interior: when the corresponding options are checked, a 9.2-inch infotainment display protrudes from the dashboard; otherwise it is eight inches. Both belong to the third generation of the modular infotainment system (MIB3), which enables online functions as well as optional wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto.
Everything remains presumably the same with the dimensions (so far: 4241 mm length, 1819 mm width, 1562 mm height), even if VW has not communicated these yet. The trunk capacity of the VW T-Roc R Facelift (2022) is 392 to 1237 liters.
