Smart EQ ForFour Production Stops, Time To Say Goodbye!

Smart, which has experienced a great decrease in its sales due to the pandemic, stops the production of some of its models. One of these models is Smart EQ ForFour.

Geely brand Smart bought it in 2019. Thus, Smart is preparing to open the doors of a new era. Therefore, the production of the Smart EQ ForFour is terminated. Thus, there will be room for new electric models.

The importance of electrification will increase in the coming years. Smart brand also wants to increase its market share with new electric models.

In the past months, the EQ ForFour model was introduced by Smart. This model was able to travel up to 125 km with zero emissions. The 80 hp model could be fully charged in 40 minutes.

As you know, the Chinese brand Geely also bought the Volvo brand apart from Smart. In 2021, it also incorporated the Lotus brand.

Geely wants to be successful in the small vehicle class with its Smart brand.
