Skoda Karoq 2022-Price and Review 2021-11-30

We were already allowed to take a seat in the Skoda Karoq Facelift (2022) for a seat test. Here's what we know about the popular Sportline and the price!

The compact SUV  is visually adapted to the current Skoda design language. The front is now adorned with a wide, hexagonal radiator grille. A new bumper underlines the fresh look. Skoda Karoq Facelift (2022) now comes with narrow LED modules in the headlights as standard.   The redesigned taillights also feature full LED technology.  

The Skoda Karoq Facelift (2022) has become more efficient. The changes on the exterior reduce the drag coefficient by nine percent, according to the manufacturer. One reason for this is the Air Curtains in the front apron, which minimize air turbulence by directing the airstream specifically through the front bumper and along the front wheels. In addition, there is a choice of new, aerodynamically optimized light-alloy wheels with a diameter of 17, 18 or 19 inches. 

Five engines are offered for the Karoq. The output range of the gasoline engines is 110 bhp to b190 hp, while the two diesels produce 116 bhp and b150 hp. The more powerful models are offered with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission in addition to a six-speed manual. The top gasoline and diesel models of the Skoda Karoq Facelift (2022) also feature all-wheel drive as standard.  

The interior of the Skoda Karoq Facelift (2021) features new seat covers and decorative trim. With the Eco package, which is also new, recycled and vegan materials are used. 

 The popular Czech has also been optimized in terms of connectivity. The infotainment system is based on the third generation of the Modular Infotainment Building Kit (MIB3) and includes the "Laura" digital voice assistant. Depending on the equipment selected, the touchscreen is 6.5, 8.0 or 9.2 inches in size. A digital instrument cluster shown on an 8.0-inch display will be standard equipment from 2022. Thanks to the integrated eSIM, the Skoda Karoq Facelift (2021) is always online. Connecting a smartphone works wirelessly via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Remote access to the vehicle is also possible via the MySkoda app.

The Skoda Karoq Facelift (2022) also offers  additional side airbags for the second row of seats. The order launch is in December 2021, prices have not yet been communicated. Probably , the price will start at £24,000.
