New Mercedes E-Class Coming in 2023, Price and Release date

The German brand is developing a new 2023 Mercedes E-series with petrol, diesel, and plug-in hybrid powertrains.

The new 2023 Mercedes E-Class will hit the roads in the second half of next year and will compete with the next-generation BMW 5 series. It will have 48-volt semi-hybrid petrol and diesel engines. There will also be a plug-in hybrid version.

The German brand has started testing the new 2023 Mercedes E-Class on public roads. The E series will come with new horizontal taillights and a steeper front nose. Mercedes, abandoning the CLE series, will only continue with the Coupe and Convertible versions.

Some changes await us in the interior as well. There will be a new touch screen system and all systems can be controlled via a single screen. While the 2023 Mercedes E-Class comes standard with an 11.9-inch screen, a 12.9-inch OLED screen will be on the options list. It will also be equipped with semi-autonomous driver assistance systems.

The 2023 Mercedes E-Class is being developed on the MRA2 platform. Thanks to the new platform, electric motor options will also be offered. All diesel and gasoline versions of the new E-Class will support this technology. A range of more than 100 km will be offered in electric mode.

The next AMG C63 will switch to a new plug-in hybrid four-cylinder setup producing up to 440kW. Sources in Germany, however, suggest that the next E63 could retain the 4.0-liter V8 and deliver more than 480kW.
