Is this how the next A4 Avant will look? Price and Details
The Audi A4 Avant (2024) is based on the next generation platform. In addition to six-cylinder engines, the range will also include plug-in hybrids. We have initial information about the S Line and quattro all-wheel drive.
Fans of the A4 will have to be patient: The renewal of the Audi A4 Avant is not scheduled until 2024. Although the current generation was presented in 2015, the brand did not thoroughly renovate its mid-size class until 2019 so that it will be fit until almost the middle of the current decade. What is certain is that the A4 will remain true to the MLB platform. The larger A6 is also based on it.
While the most important designs are set with the sedan and the Audi A4 Avant (2024), there is a big question mark behind the convertible version of the next A5.
Unlike Mercedes, Audi is sticking to the classic powertrains in the Audi A4 Avant (2024). At least the RS version - in the current A4 Avant with a 2.9-liter V6 biturbo gasoline engine with 450 hp - will keep a six-cylinder. The 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbodiesel, meanwhile (286 and 347 bhp), is likely to be replaced by a hybridized four-cylinder TDI.
In order to reduce fleet consumption, Audi will continue to rely on the clean and extremely economical 2.0-liter turbodiesel (currently 122 to 204 hp) and on mild, full and plug-in hybrids. The now obligatory quattro all-wheel drive will also be available in the latest A4 generation.
The A4 e-tron will initially start as a hatchback with a large tailgate, but a station wagon version (Avant) is also conceivable. It is too early for a price for the next Audi A4 Avant (2024).
