2023 BMW 7-Series Coming with 626 HP
According to new reports, the 2023 BMW 7-Series will be powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter unit. This unit will be able to produce 271 hp and 370 hp. Another engine option will be the 4.4-liter V8 unit. This unit will offer two different options as 538 hp and 626 hp.
While the publication didn’t mention specifications for the diesel engine or the highly-anticipated i7, the company has previously said that the “i7’s electric drive, high-voltage battery, power electronics and charging technology all originate from the fifth generation of BMW eDrive technology, which already provides for sustainable driving pleasure in the BMW iX.”
Another report states that the 2023 BMW 7-Series will also come with a plug-in hybrid version. Gasoline and diesel variants will be combined with a 48-volt mild hybrid system. This system will have 3 different versions as 395 hp, 493 hp and 641 hp.
BMW has confirmed that the V12 engine will no longer power the 7-series. In short, there will no longer be a 6.6-liter v12 unit. Thanks to this unit, 0-100 km/h acceleration took 3.6 seconds.
