The interior concept is inspired by previous Prius, completely eliminating the goal of other cars to put everything around the driver. There appear in elevated position two 4.2-inch TFT screens that give all the information.
In this Prius PHEV infotainment is handled from the 8-inch touch screen, which has the Toyota Touch 2 system.
It is not as evolved as those of the latest models, so we will see a somewhat outdated graphics. Fortunately we have direct access buttons on the sides and the menus are quite intuitive. There are also some analog climate controls, all integrated in the same central area of the dashboard. At the bottom of the center console is a hole with wireless charging for smartphones.
The Toyota Prius PHEV can be configured in three different equipment levels. Already standard comes with the Advanced, which after a full endowment thanks to 15-inch wheels, LED headlights, Toyota Touch & Go 2 with 8-inch screen, integrated navigation, rearview camera, dual-zone climate control, and heated seats.
Engine
The Toyota Prius PHEV comes with its plug-in hybrid propulsion system. The main gasoline engine is Atkinson is combined with 1.8 liters to achieve a power of 98 hp. It is joined by two small electric blocks that combine for another 67 kW. To clarify, the combined power is 122 hp in this example, which has the usual CVT transmission of the brand.
