Nissan-Elektroauto (2024): Specifications, price, release date

A small Nissan electric car will probably replace the Nissan Micra in 2024.

The manufacturer published a  teaser in January 2022. The small electric car is built on the CMF B-EV (Common Module Family) platform, which is used by Renault, Nissan, and Mitsubishi. Renault has already unveiled its e-car based on this platform named the Renault 5 Prototype.

Large LED circles are visible as daytime running lights at the front, each interrupted by a narrow headlight strip. Open LED circles are found at the rear of the small Nissan electric car (2024).

The CMF B-EV platform is said to be designed for battery capacities of 40 to 90 kWh. The output of the e-motor could be between 100 and 160 kW. This would allow a range of up to 500 miles. In the case of the Renault R5 Prototype, it is specified as up to 250 miles. Incidentally, the cost of the electric modular system is said to be 33 percent lower than for a comparably sized Renault Zoe. That could mean its price starts around 20,000 Pound.
