Mercedes-AMG GT (2023): Price, Details and Release Date 2022-01-27

After a short hiatus, the Mercedes-AMG GT is expected to make its comeback in 2023.

Although the coupe is built on the same platform as the SL, it is not a twin. However, we expect similarities in price and interior.

The Mercedes-AMG GT has been spotted on public roads for the first time as a prototype. Nevertheless, the first photos from snowy Northern Europe allow a comparison of how closely the coupe resembles its platform brother, the SL. 

The radiator grille is lower and the headlights have a different shape, giving the two-seater a more aggressive look. There is a similar effect at the rear: the taillights do not appear triangular, as on the SL, but narrow and horizontal, as on the predecessor, which will be discontinued in January 2022. 

PRICE & INTERIOR 

The power comes from a 4.0-liter Biturbo V8 engine that produces 476 hp (350 kW) in the SL 55 and 585 hp (430 kW) in the SL 63. The convertible can accelerate to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds. 

It is still too early for a concrete price, but the predecessor should provide a good reference for a good 120,000 Pound. We do not expect the Mercedes-AMG GT to be launched before 2023.
