Brabus 800 XLP Superblack : Price and Details

Tuning to a luxury pick-up: Brabus has cut off the rear of the Mercedes-AMG G 63, added a load floor and thus upgraded it to the extravagant Brabus 800 XLP Superblack.

The Mercedes-AMG G 63 has gone over to the dark side of horsepower and has been upgraded to the Brabus 800 XLP Superblack. The special version of the Adventure series turns the off-roader into a pompous pick-up with mighty horsepower and even more carbon. The interior as well as the exterior design is kept completely dark. This does not make the silhouette of the Brabus 800 XLP slim. On the contrary: the tuning ship comes across as extremely beefy, not least because Brabus has lengthened and reinforced the frame. The now 5.3-metre-long 800 XLP also achieves its mighty appearance through wing extensions, an underride guard, aluminium roof racks and 22-inch monoblock HD forged wheels. In addition to the Signature Black Metallic paint, carbon dominates the exterior of the converted Mercedes-AMG G 63: at the front, front skirt inserts, bonnet attachment and radiator grille frame are made of the noble material. The rear door attachment of the Brabus 800 XLP Superblack also shines in carbon, as do the tailpipe trims with additional LED lighting and the illuminated Brabus logo.

The interior of the Brabus 800 XLP Superblack is also deep black. From the dashboard to the steering wheel to the centre console, everything is covered in black leather. Even the floor of the car is quilted in leather. Exactly 206, the tuner counts, carbon trim elements can be found in the interior. But Brabus has not only upgraded the appearance of the ex- and interior, the engine has also received a performance upgrade. The regular 4.0-litre V8 biturbo of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 with a standard output of 585 hp (430 kW) has an output of a whopping 800 hp (588 kW) and a maximum torque of 1000 Newton metres after the tuning. With this, the pick-up reaches a top speed of 210 km/h and rushes from zero to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds. The company has not yet revealed when the Brabus 800 XLP Superblack will be released. The starting price is listed at around 726,000 euros (as of January 2022).
