2022 Renault Austral Sketches Released

We will meet the new Astra on March 8th.

French automaker Renault will launch Austra on March 8. The brand, which continues to publish teaser before the launch, shared its sketches today.

Having huge wheels and an aerodynamic structure, 2022 Renault Austral bears traces of Megan E-Tech at the front end. There is also a wide grille as it will be powered by the internal combustion engine.

At the front end, there are LED headlights and an illuminated grille. Using the Sensual Tech design language, Renault has protection plans at the front and rear.

The new Renault Austral will come with a passenger capacity of 5 people. It will also be equipped with the OpenR infotainment system, digital cockpit, 24.4-inch screen, advanced sound isolation and driver assistance systems.

Renault's C-SUV will be 4.51 meters long, based on the CMF-CD3 platform. Engine options include 1.3 TCe 12V and 1.2 TCe 48V. There will also be a full hybrid engine option producing 197 hp.

The new AUSTRAL will compete with models such as Peugeot 3008, Citroen C5 Aircross, Nissan Qashqai, Skoda Karoq, Seat Ateca, VW Tiguan, Ford Kuga, Jeep Compass.
