The brand brother of the Kia EV6  impresses with its unusual design and optional performance.

It charges just as quickly as its platform colleague, and there is also a choice of two batteries (58 and 72.6 kWh) and power levels from 170 to 305 bhp. 

One of the outstanding features of the Ioniq 5 is its intelligent design. The flat floor and the well arranged center console create a great feeling of space.  The seats are generously built and softly upholstered. Thanks to the two large screens, the cockpit looks modern, luxurious and independent at the same time. The trunk holds 527 to 1587 liters, and there is a small storage compartment under the hood with 57 liters (24 liters for all-wheel drive models).

Video images in the digital driver's display help cover the blind spot; thanks to a 230-volt socket, laptop  can also be charged. And at the touch of a button in the key , the car maneuvers silently and independently out of tight parking spaces. Even an optional solar roof is offered; according to Hyundai, it provides up to 2000 kilometers of extra range per year. 

As an electric car, it's very decent, and it also delivers superior driving performance.

In terms of price, it is even slightly cheaper than the Kia EV6.
