2022 Ford Ranger : Price and Specs 2021-11-25

The new Ford Ranger comes with a new screen and V6 diesel.

Ford has introduced the new Ranger. At the fron, there are the new, squarer headlights with C-shaped signature. The massive crossbar of the redesigned grille extends into the light units. The new front apron with underride protection is visually connected to the frame of the grille, making the Ranger look more aggressive. At the rear, Ford has added new tail lights.

Longer wheelbase and functional load area

The wheelbase has been increased by 50 millimetres. The new model will have a wheelbase of 3270 millimetres . The loading area is now coated with plastic.

Upright screen like in the Mustang Mach-E

The pick-up also gets a portrait display (standard 10 inches, optional 12 inches) and a digital speedometer. However, both are conventionally integrated into the dashboard. Some buttons and switches have been removed, and the functions are now controlled via the central screen.  

V6 diesel

The new Ranger will be available with a three-litre V6 diesel. This is mated to a ten-speed automatic. 

The market launch for the new Ford Ranger is in 2022. Prices are likely to rise. In our opunion, the basic model will cost under 40,000.
